Blacksmithing

As Iron Sharpens Iron...Proverbs 27:17

I have recently become very intrigued by blacksmithing, but to keep things honest I have no clue about what I am getting myself into. This blog is intended to be my journey with blacksmithing, and hopefully we can grow in knowledge and skill together.

I have taken one class from a local nature center (Blandford Nature Center). This class was intended to be a beginner or apprentice level class. This saturday I will be taking a follow up class, it is still a beginner class but the 2.0 version.

Blandford did an excellent job with the first class. They had two gentlemen volunteer their time and skills to work with us (usually not more than 2 students per instructor). These two men were extremely knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions we had.
